💡 What creators really want in 2025?

Let me be honest.

A lot of marketers are still running creator campaigns like it’s 2019.

And when I talk to them, the frustrations are always the same:

“No one’s replying to our outreach.”
“The content feels flat.”
“We’re not seeing real results.”

I’ve been there. And after working with hundreds of creators, I can tell you this:
They’ve evolved.

They’re not just here for free product or a one-off promo anymore.

They’re running businesses. Building communities. And thinking like founders.

If you want to land better content, better results, and creators who actually want to work with your brand…

→ You need to understand what really matters to them right now.

Here’s what I keep hearing in my calls, DMs, and strategy sessions 👇

1️⃣ Recurring partnerships

Creators are tired of the one-post-and-done deals. They want security.

I’ve had creators tell me, “I just want to work with 3–5 brands consistently. That’s it.”

They want relationships, not transactions.

📊 And brands are catching on: nearly half say long-term partnerships are now their top priority.

Why it matters for you:
Longer partnerships = more trust = more conversions.
Plus, creators care more when they know you’ll be back next month

2️⃣ Audience growth

Every creator wants to grow: it’s their #1 KPI.

I’ve seen creators get excited not just about the money, but about how you can help them reach new people.

How you can help:

  • Repost their content

  • Tag them in your stories

  • Run paid boosts on their best-performing videos

🧠 When creators feel seen and supported, they’ll go the extra mile.

3️⃣ Audience ownership

This one’s big.

More and more creators I talk to are building newsletters, Discords, and subscriber communities - because they don’t want to rely 100% on Instagram’s algorithm.

What helps?
Give them early access or bonus offers they can share with their community.
Help them build loyalty on their own terms.

The more you support their long game, the more loyal they’ll be to your brand

4️⃣ Business opportunities

Creators are turning into founders.

Fact: 88% of creators have already launched their own products.

I’ve worked with creators who now have product lines, brand collabs, and affiliate storefronts that rival major retailers.

What they want from you:
Not just a budget → but a seat at the table.
They want to co-create. Share feedback. Maybe even build something with you.

If you treat them like real business partners, the content and conversions will follow.

🧠 So what’s the takeaway for you?

If you want better content and real results, you need to approach creators based on what they care about—and tailor it to your brand.

But here’s the thing:
What works for a skincare brand won’t work for a golf gadget.
What a beauty creator wants isn’t what a comedy creator needs.
